The CNR is a formal recognition/credentialing program by NURSE'S COURT, that documents a nursing professional's successful completion of remediation, ethics education, rehabilitation efforts and peer recovery support as part of their rehabilitation process. It is not a replacement for licensure review but serves as a supplemental credential during reinstatement review.

Yes. NURSE'S COURT welcomes state boards as pilot partners or as members of the CNR Advisory Council to co-create a framework for safety and efficiency. Join several BON's in the Pilot program.

The CNR program includes ongoing case reviews, behavior monitoring, and revocation clauses. Participants may be removed from the program if they engage in further adverse behavior post-certification.

No. The CNR does not restore licensure. It provides evidence-based, verifiable information to aid the Board in evaluating applicants with prior disciplinary actions.

The program includes core components such as ethics remediation, peer mentorship, case management, recovery verification (if applicable), and continuing education. Applicants submit documentation, complete an interview, and are monitored pre and post-certification.

NURSE'S COURT, LLC is a Florida Bar-recognized legal aid organization founded by Yolene Lofton, MBA, BSN. The corporate office is located in Florida and has satellite offices in all 50 states. The organization advocates for ethical reentry, professional restoration, and second-chance equity for the nursing workforce.

Many Boards are overwhelmed by case volume and increasing workforce shortages. The CNR provides a structured method to identify rehabilitated professionals and helps fulfill workforce reintegration priorities outlined under the Trump administration. Contact info@nursescourt.org for more information.

While responsive to the Trump administration's second-chance reintegration directives, the CNR program is grounded in nonpartisan goals: public protection, professional rehabilitation, and workforce strengthening.

The program includes core components such as ethics remediation, peer mentorship, case management, recovery verification (if applicable), and continuing education. Applicants submit documentation, complete an interview, and are monitored post-certification.
